About Us

Sol de Paris was founded in 2023, originally under the name Double H Art Space, and later officially renamed Sol de Paris.

Established by HanYue and Liwei Deng, the gallery began with a deeply personal aspiration—to create a private artistic space in Paris where art, life, inspiration, and emotion could flow freely and naturally.

The word “Sol” in French means ground or earth, and is also the root of soleil (sun), symbolizing light, warmth, and the origin of all creation.
Guided by this symbolism, Sol de Paris aims to become a meeting point of illumination and cultural foundation—a place where art takes root, expands, and engages in meaningful dialogue with every visitor.

Sol de Paris is dedicated to presenting diverse expressions of contemporary art, including moving images, installations, new media, and interdisciplinary aesthetic projects. We collaborate closely with artists, brands, and cultural institutions to build an innovative and forward-thinking artistic ecosystem.

Sol de Paris is located in the vibrant heart of the Marais district:
17 Rue Chapon, 75003 Paris, France

The gallery spans approximately 175㎡, divided into:

  • Upper Floor (95㎡): Ideal for exhibitions, solo shows, artist talks, and brand collaborations

  • Lower Floor (80㎡): Designed as an immersive screening room, multimedia installation space, and intimate micro-cinema

The flexible architecture allows the space to adapt to various curatorial needs—from traditional exhibitions to multimedia and experimental formats.
