Guangyi Luo (Milliana) is a Chinese multidisciplinary artist currently based between London and Milan. Originally trained in textile print at the University of the Arts London, her practice moves between painting, fabric, and installation, exploring the tension between natural forms, geometric systems, and postmodern visual culture.
Drawing inspiration from fashion print, urban textures, botanical structures, and colour theory, Luo’s work investigates how repetition, pattern, and materiality shape emotional and psychological experience. Her recent series, Interwoven Shadows, combines layered acrylic surfaces, textile-based processes, and spatial presentation to examine endurance, visibility, and the quiet resistance of organic life within systems of pressure and control.
Her work has been exhibited in London and Milan, including exhibitions at Swanfall Gallery and MA-EC Gallery.
