À l’ère des grands récits historiques et sous la houle de la mondialisation, nos regards sont souvent happés par les enjeux sociaux colossaux et les chocs visuels spectaculaires. Ce faisant, l’existence du petit, du quotidien, de l’individuel semble peu à peu reléguée à l’arrière-plan. Pourtant, ce sont précisément ces détails infimes — ces fragments, ces émotions discrètes et souvent négligées — qui forment la trame authentique de notre lien au monde.

La beauté du petit cherche à ramener notre attention vers ces instants « insignifiants » mais profondément signifiants. L’exposition met en lumière des créations artistiques de petit format, aux médiums variés — fruits d’une observation attentive du quotidien, d’une mémoire précieuse ou d’un murmure émotionnel. Qu’il s’agisse d’une petite peinture, d’une courte vidéo, d’une sculpture ou d’une installation discrètement enchâssée dans l’espace, ces œuvres ne cherchent pas à s’imposer, mais à éveiller une résonance intérieure et intime.

À travers cette exposition, nous souhaitons instaurer dans l’espace public une nouvelle manière de regarder : ralentir, se rapprocher, et prêter l’oreille aux chuchotements derrière chaque œuvre. Le « petit » n’est pas seulement un choix d’échelle, mais aussi une posture de résistance face au déluge d’informations ; le « privé » n’est plus replié sur soi, mais devient espace de résonance et de partage.

Ici, le minuscule devient grandiose, et le quotidien, poésie.

In an era dominated by grand narratives and the sweeping tides of globalization, our gaze is often captured by overwhelming social issues and striking visual spectacles. In this context, the small, the everyday, and the individual can seem to lose their importance. La beauté du petit seeks to redirect our attention to those seemingly “insignificant” yet profoundly meaningful moments. This exhibition focuses on small-scale, mixed-media artistic creations—born from the artist’s attentive observation of life, the preservation of memory, and the quiet murmur of emotion. These works may take the form of a small painting, a short video, a sculpture, or a modestly embedded installation. They do not shout, nor do they seek to dominate the space, but rather, they invite inner resonance and contemplation.

Through this exhibition, we hope to foster a new way of seeing in public space: to slow down, to come closer, to listen to the whispers behind each piece. “Small” is not merely a choice of scale—it is a gesture of resistance against the flood of information. The “personal” is no longer closed off, but open to resonance and sharing.
